The AECTP is born, the first association of electricians in cinema, television and advertising in Spain

The AECTP is promoted by professionals in the sector. Its objective is to give visibility to a group of specialized lighting technicians to establish consultation and advisory services that contribute to a safe work environment.

A hundred professionals from the sector have launched the AECTP, first cinema, television and advertising electrical association from Spain. Through the grouping of these professionals, the aim is to promote the exchange of scientific, artistic and technical information among all its members.

The establishment of a code of conduct and good practices, as well as the exchange with other associations in the sector, are part of the association's statutes.

The founding act of the AECTP has been signed by Francisco Izaguirre, president of the AECTP; Alejandro Martín, vice president; Francisco Blanco 'Chisko', secretary; Oscar Molina de Cela, treasurer; and Carlos Hernández along with Álvaro Jiménez as members.

Other professionals collaborating in the association's tasks for its launch are Jorge Arribas, Iker Estívalez, Eduardo G. Mon, Daniel Davó and Eric Mikhaelides.
