United and NEP anticipate some keys to Eurovision 2021 production
Once again, the Eurovision Song Contest will be produced by United and NEP. The 2021 edition of the event will be held at the Rotterdam Ahoy pavilion from 18 to 22 May.
Both companies receive the order from public television US to take care of the multi-camera production of the two semi-finals and the final, including the conditioning of all technical facilities, equipment and material. In charge of the global production of the event, whose audience will reach 200 million viewers, are NPOUS Avrotros and EBU.
"The Eurovision Song Contest is an event that connects people and something that the public looks forward to. That's why expectations and quality levels are higher than ever. To live up to these expectations, we will deploy the best technical solutions, the best equipment and the best staff to meet the highest level of quality and ensure that it is an unforgettable event," he concludes.
For its part, René Delwel, CEO of United, adds: "It is a pleasure to see how the two companies work together as one team for this huge event. We consider the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest to be very unique and of great importance at the national level. Our people are well aware of this and work hard to deliver the best solutions and results. By hosting the Eurovision Song Contest, Europe's biggest entertainment show with around 200 million viewers, the Netherlands will be put on the international map. It is a unique opportunity that we will take advantage of."
