5G Forum announces the dates of its 2022 edition after new success

A new edition of the event will be held on May 3, 4 and 5, 2022. 5G Forum, initiative of Medina Media Events. The date has been announced days after the closing of the 2021 edition, which has improved the 2020 data by 50%.

67 speakers (20% women), distributed in 32 presentations exclusive y 10 panels (in addition to 36 question and answer sessions, dozens of B2B meetings and webinars) have formed the agenda of the 5G Forum 2021, which was distributed in 3 days (one more than in 2020) and that it rebroadcast its 6-hour programming in afternoon and evening sessions to facilitate monitoring from the American continent.

In total, the 5G Forum 2021 has increased by 50% its participation compared to the 2020 edition. Specifically, it has reached 759 professionals from 281 companies. The majority profiles have been CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and directors of Innovation, Business, Product, Strategy, Marketing, as well as consultants and researchers.

The international relevance that the 5G FORUM in Spain has achieved in its four editions has attracted professional participants from 18 countries: Brazil, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Andorra and Spain. In addition, the Medina Media Events platform showed 4,195 visitors, coming from 43 countries, including a total of 3,152 have been from Spain, from 16 of the 17 Spanish communities.

Broad industry support

The fourth edition of the 5G FORUM has managed to attract up to a total of 28 sponsors (150% more than in 2020), including large prominent companies from the United States, China and Europe. Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media Events, anticipates that in 2022 many companies will be present again: "We have found an extraordinary response to this 2021 edition and many other companies have told us that they want to be in the next edition of 2022. The 5G Forum has been, is, and will continue to be, a great opportunity to publicize the successes of each company, of each city, of each project in a reference event and with a first-class showcase."

In terms of content, attendees have been able to learn first-hand about the vision of the Commission European and of Eurovision; as well as the latest of the latest that is happening with the 5G and the 6G globally. They have also taken note of everything that is being done in Spain, hand in hand with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation and Red.es: from the plans to invest the 2,000 million European funds, to the best 5G pilot projects that are being worked on in Europe and in Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Extremadura, Galicia and Madrid.

Furthermore, universities such as Valencia Polytechnic, the Polytechnic of Catalonia (Nearby Computing), la Charles III of Madrid (Team Up 5G), la University of Malaga (5Genesis) and the University of Seville They have also explained their projects at the 5G Forum to give visibility to their 5G projects.
