DDB hires Azahara Ramos as production manager in Spain
The advertising agency DDB is committed to a stronger production department with renewed ideas with the appointment of Azahara Ramos as the new production director in Spain.
José María Roca, Vice President and General Creative Director of DDB Spain, highlights that "production and creativity have always gone hand in hand: a great idea that is poorly produced is a great idea that has been lost. In addition to further improving the quality of our large productions, working hand in hand with the best production companies in the country, we want to be able to create and produce content in an agile way, maintaining the high level of production that we have in all our pieces".
To do this, they have incorporated Azahara Ramos into the team, an outstanding professional and until now Producer at Garlic, one of the most cutting-edge production companies in the advertising sector in Spain. During his time at Garlic, Azahara has worked for clients such as BBVA, VW, Cervezas Alhambra, Correos, Vogue, FC Barcelona and Once among others, having DDB as the main agency in these projects and the position of directors such as BRBR (directors of the year in 2019).
"Agility and adaptation will be the basis of the new shoots that will be done in the future. I am very excited about the new challenges that are to come, it is a pride to grow together with the DDB team," says Azahara.
Azahara's beginnings in the sector are linked to the production of short films and video clips, although she started in the advertising sector at a very young age. She has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and a Diploma in Production from the ECAM (Film School of the Community of Madrid). She worked as a production coordinator in national and international projects for brands such as: Heineken, Pepsi, Mitsubishi, Burger King and Coca Cola among other advertisers. From there she jumped to be head of production for different clients such as Estrella Galicia, Reale Seguros or Canal+.
He combined advertising with television, where he was part of the production department for Warner Bross programs, which were shot both in Spain and in other countries. Later he made a leap to the management of F4 (a company specialized in sets and management of camera/lighting material), where he was in charge of the operation of the company and its resources, whose activity was aimed at the supply of series and films.
In 2017 she became part of the Dommo agency, where she led the production part of the agency. At this time when he worked with clients such as KFC, Tanqueray, La Casera, Just EAT, Pullmantur. In addition to carrying out the production of Randm, the agency's in-house production company where the content was produced directly and the teams were formed from 0 to provide a differentiated service with respect to the rest of the agencies.
