UHD Spain test broadcasts come to hybrid television

Spectators with access to hybrid television can press the red button of their command to access the 4K content of UHD Spain.

He has also done it through hybrid television (HBBTV), in collaboration with Vestel, with some of the contents of UHD Spain emissions, which originally had a stereo sound.

Other UHD Spain members such as Fraunhofer They are also making demonstrations with different audio and video coding standards (MPEG-H) with the objective that 4K content can be reproduced with a more customizable audio in the largest possible number of devices possible through the Internet.

In addition, the different work groups of UHD Spain (postproduction, coding, issuance and reception) are promoting numerous technical tests in relation to HDR (High Dynamic Range), WCG (Wide color gamut) and the necessary transmission parameters, among others. The conclusions of these initiatives will be collected in the White Paper that will be published by the Association in November, on the occasion of the celebration of the 4K HDR Summit (November 15-19 2021).
