Ateme natively integrates Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos into its Titan Live solution
Atem has integrated the technologies Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos in its Titan Live solution, making it the first solution on the market to encode and deliver both experiences natively.
This solution allows content providers and redistributors the ability to offer viewers a immersive visual and audio experience by combining the best innovations from Ateme and Dolby in vision and sound.
The integration of Dolby Vision image quality into Titan Live, Ateme's high-density, high-video quality software compression solution, will bring entertainment to life for viewers through incredible brightness, contrast, color and detail. Meanwhile, with Dolby Atmos, audiences will be able to enjoy a fully immersive listening experience through audio that will bring them closer to the story.
With Ateme's Titan Live encoding solution, which now supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, Ateme customers will benefit from the cost reduction and the complexity of production and distribution.
The integration also offers more deployment flexibility by being cloud-compatible. It is compatible with delivery formats Dolby AC-4 y Dolby Audio, like Dolby Digital Plus, to achieve maximum interoperability of players when delivering Dolby Atmos content.
This development is the result of a strong and fruitful long-term partnership between Ateme and Dolby, as both companies have collaborated closely on numerous large-scale global events in recent years, such as top-class tennis tournaments and major soccer matches.
Jean-Christophe Morizur, Senior Director of Professional Products and Solutions at Dolby Laboratories, comments that "the integration of Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and our Dolby audio codec technologies in Ateme Titan sets up a unique solution that enables the transmission of live events in Dolby. This will provide operators, such as major sports broadcasters or streaming providers, the ability to deliver incredible viewing experiences to their audiences by leveraging Dolby's proven and efficient toolsets and Attend me.”
Thomas Burnichon, vice president of innovation strategy at Ateme, highlights that “our partnership with Dolby focuses on innovation to ultimately improve the quality of experience for the end user, but equally important is that this integration makes the deployment of those technologies truly simple and cost-effective.”
