Iris Awards - Jury 2021 - Television Academy

The Professional Committee of the Iris Awards of the Jury (Television Academy) has announced the winners in the 2021 edition of the contest.

The "Antonio Mercero fiction address award" has stopped Rodrigo Sorogoyen and Borja Soler by Antidisturbs of Movistar+. The jury, composed of Blanca Vives, Ricardo Vaca Berdayes and LEYL (Academy Talent Awards); and by BEATRIZ MANesso, Jota Abril and Joana Carrión (Members of the Board of Directors), highlighted the "masterful management work in the construction of the story in a series that catches the viewer from the first sequence."

The jury has also wanted to recognize another professional: Lucas Vidal, film and television composer who has signed pieces for Elite (Netflix), Tell me who I am (Movistar+) o Midas favorites (Netflix)

The Iris Awards Jury They have also awarded What you give me (The sixth), Jordi Évole's interview with Pau Donés, "for the quality, professional and human, of the documentary and its nature"; Where does my money go? (Canarian television), Dissemination program, “for promoting civic-tributary education from autonomic television; and Vital Security (RTVE), Format of the 1, "for being a program of dissemination, entertainment and clear public service that has managed to consolidate on the grill."

The last two programs awarded by the Iris of the Jury awards in its 2021 edition have been PALOMARES (Movistar+), the last work of the journalist David Beriain, "for being an innovative format that incorporates into history the narrative keys of the thriller"; and Gardens with history (RTVE), Program of the 2, "for its aesthetic care, for raising awareness among the spectator about the landscape heritage and for its clear commitment to the environment and sustainability."
