The Television Academy announces the winners of the Iris Awards

The president of the Academy, María Casado and Jota Abril, member of the Board of Directors of the Academy, have been responsible for publicly announcing this Tuesday from the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid the winning professionals and programs of the 2020 and 2021 Iris Awards.

This is the first time in the history of the Institution that the results of the voting in the categories chosen before a notary by the academics are announced before the delivery.

The Television Academy is already working, together with The Cannon Shot, in a new, innovative format that will turn the concept of traditional awards ceremonies on its head, with a lot of love for TV but opening it up to new experiences. Jota Abril will be in charge of conducting a program at the Price Circus in Madrid that will feature the participation of the winners in both editions.

The Iris Awards will be made available to television stations and platforms to be broadcast next November 21, World Television Day, in recognition of the sector and tribute to its professionals in such complicated years for everyone.
