Mikel Gurrea shoots his first feature 'Suro' in the Empordà

Filmmaker Mikel Gurrea is shooting his first feature film until August 19 Suro, a Catalan production Lastor Media y Malmo Pictures with the collaboration of vasca Irusoin and co-production of TV3.

El reparto lo completan tanto actores no profesionales provenientes de comarcas como el Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà, la Selva o el Maresme, que se han incorporado a la producción después de un largo proceso de casting realizado durante un año y medio por todo el territorio catalán.

Can we be self-sufficient, environmentalists, tolerant, free, different from our parents?"

The project has a long history in development laboratories, such as the Sam Spiegel Film Lab, and has participated in festival markets and has received awards, among which the award for best project at the Ikusmira Berriak artistic residency at the San Sebastián Festival stands out.
