AJA helps Pass start its path in audiovisual streaming

The audiovisual services company Pass has undertaken its transition to hosting, streaming and recording of virtual events with a selection of solutions AJA.

Whether the goal is to broadcast classical symphonic performances for the Bach Akademie in Stuttgart, or host virtual conferences for Trelleborg, Computacenter and other multinational companies, Pass has decided to rely on a wide range of recording, broadcast and I/O equipment from AJA.

Specifically, the recorders Ki Pro of AJA allow Pass capture masters high resolution for archival and post-production purposes. During live events, eight HD cameras feed into the recorders Ki Pro Ultra 12G y Ki Pro GO by AJA. The material captured through Ki Pro Ultra Plus is recorded as files Apple ProRes high quality in reliable units AJA Mr. Media for later use in post-production. At the same time, H.264 HD files are recorded via Ki Pro GO directly to affordable USB drives, which can be delivered to clients or team members directly after events without the need to copy, render or transfer media.

Streaming and H.264

During live broadcasts of events, Pass uses a HELO of AJA to provide high-quality H.264 real-time encoding and simultaneous delivery of live streams to a series of CDNs. The H.264 streaming and recording device features flexible 3G-SDI and HDMI source inputs to adapt to varying workflow demands.
