Atresmedia's original fiction 'People talking', nominated for Best Short Series at the International Emmy Awards
people talking, a fiction of independent and self-contained chapters produced by Flooxer (Atresmedia) in collaboration with Seven Audiovisual Magic, has achieved the nomination with its second season in the category of Best Short Series at the 2021 International Emmy Awards.
The winners will be announced at an in-person ceremony in New York City next Monday, November 22, the location of which will be announced shortly.
This nomination adds to the milestone achieved by another fiction under the Series Atresmedia label, with which The Money Heist In 2018, it won the award for Best Drama at the 46th International Emmy Awards.
Created, directed and written by Alvaro Carmona, people talking has become one of the reference series of Flooxer, Atresmedia's young channel available on ATRESplayer.
Its first season already obtained the support of the public and also professional critics. It won, among others, awards such as the award for Best Short Format Series at the Series Mania International Festival in Lille (France), Best Short Format Series at the Produ Awards 2019 in Cancún and the Award for Best Director and Best Actor at the Marseille Web Fest. At the national level, the fiction collected the MIM SERIES 2020 for Best Comedy Series, four awards at Carballo Interplay and received two special mentions from the Jury for the script at the Cinema Jove Festival.
The second season of people talking It is composed of 6 independent and self-contained chapters that bear the signature of Flooxer, in collaboration with Set Magic Audiovisual.
