Fuji S10

Thinking about the use of robotic systems, increasingly in demand in remote production, Fujifilm will gradually launch a series of Fujinon portable lenses for broadcast environments with the newly developed S10 digital grip.

These 18 new lenses will be equipped with the S10 to offer precise zoom and focus to enable remote recording based on a robotic system, for which demand is growing in video production locations.

En la producción convencional de contenidos de vídeo, incluidos los programas de televisión en un estudio y la cobertura en directo de eventos deportivos o musicales, se asigna personal a cada una de las cámaras de vídeo para operarlas. Más recientemente, los robotic systems that support remote operations are increasingly used to meet the needs of streamlining video production and amid the growing demand for remote filming due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. In this trend, the sector demands broadcast lenses capable of zooming and focusing to adapt to each scene and satisfy the demands of producers even when a robotic system is used for video recording.

The S10 digital grip, developed with the most advanced mechanical technology, will allow zooming and focusing without delay even during pan and tilt operations. The lenses use a precise zoom and focus and fast to accurately capture a fast-moving subject during live sports broadcasting, while enabling ultra-slow and smooth zoom and focus during live music coverage to deliver expressive video.

The remote production Based on the robotic system, you achieve high-quality video production equivalent to video recording captured with the advanced skills of a real videographer.

These targets can also emit information position on zoom, focus and even iris, enabling high-precision position detection. This means that live video streams can be combined with virtual video under optimal conditions, meeting the growing demand for virtual video production.

Additionally, improved zoom and focus response helps camera operators record video exactly as intended, even when used with the zoom/focus controls or when operating the rig with a shoulder-held camera.
