José Pastor assumes the film and fiction address in RTVE

The film and fiction area of RTVE, which depends on the General Contents Directorate led by Amalia Martínez de Velasco, will be headed by José Pastor.

Bachelor of Law from the Complutense University and Master in International Management of the company from the ICEX, José Pastor He has developed a wide career in the audiovisual sector, specializing in television fiction and cinema from different angles. Throughout his career, he has held positions as diverse as Programming responsible In the group Warner, director of programming and acquisitions In the group Viacom, independent feature film producer, International Relations Coordinator of the Federation of Associations of Audiovisual Producers of Spain (FAPAE) or manager of the Film Academy, from where he has contributed to promoting the promotion of Spanish cinema. Therefore, his experience covers from the selection of content to the financing of projects, through the acquisition, programming and dissemination of film and series.

Professional recognized by the industry, José Pastor will contribute to RTVE a Strategic Vision of the Sector, as well as a deep knowledge of audience consumption habits. From his new position, Coordinate the film and fiction strategy of the media group, with special focus on the independent production and in the Co -productions with European public televisions.
