Star FM begins a new stage with AEQ's Forum IP Split consoles

Forum IP Split consoles AEQ are incorporated into the studies of Star FM, one of the most popular private broadcasters in Estonia.

The technical direction of Star FM decided to renew its main broadcast studio with the digital console AEQ Split IP Forum for its “great robustness, ease of operation and emission design,” according to the company.

AEQ Forum IP Split is a mixing console designed for ONAIR emissions control. It incorporates all the basic characteristics necessary in these types of environments: automatic cut-off of monitors, cough cut-off, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercom, etc. Thanks to its modular design and small size, it adapts to different scenarios: self-control, control-locutory, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc.

The Forum IP Split version comes with the modular engine FR CORE in 3 rack units. It can be composed of up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit. At the same time, they can be equipped with AoIP multi-channel input and output cards compatible with the new AES67 protocol through Dante technology. Through this connectivity, signals can be collected and delivered to other consoles, routers, and other input and output terminal equipment of more than 300 different manufacturers.
