Alejandro Echevarría, honorary president of Mediaset España

The president of Mediaset Spain, Alejandro Echevarría Busquet, has communicated his intention to leave his position coinciding with the expiration of his contract, although he will remain linked to the company as honorary president.

Echevarría's farewell will be made official coinciding with the company's next Ordinary General Shareholders' Meeting, next April.

Echevarria has held the presidency of Mediaset Spain during the last 26 years, desde que en 1996 accediese a su Consejo de Administración representando los intereses del, entonces, Grupo Correo.
