CIMA shoots 'Actresses in action' with Ovide equipment
Ovid has transferred several equipment to the Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media (CIMA) for the filming of the program actresses in action, whose objective is to support professional women in the sector.
Six actresses have participated in the CIMA project Actresses in Action, coordinated by the director and actress Celia de Molina. The interpreters
They have filmed several pieces that will serve as a presentation to the industry. The actresses who have participated are Ana Peregrina, Cris Iglesias, Huichi
Chiu, Sandra Arpa, Tábata Cerezo and Violeta Orgaz. With these pieces filmed, the actresses interpret with unusual registers in their works
previous ones, thus opening themselves to new professional possibilities.
For these shoots Ovide has supplied a camera ARRI Alexa Mini, Cooke S4/i lenses and a Easyrig Cinema Flex Vest for women,
as well as other accessories such as monitors and mini-monitors, video transmitters, focus controls...
Ovide plans to supply equipment for the program CIMA Impulsa, who works with scriptwriters and production companies (with experience or
novices) in the development of their projects and supports their subsequent access to the industry. In this case, Ovide will provide the equipment
camera to shoot the teasers selected in the fiction and documentary feature film categories.
Currently, CIMA is made up of more than 700 professional women film and TV directors, screenwriters, producers, actresses, editors, composers and representatives of the different creative or technical departments.
