Mountain bets on small-sized workstations with Sapphire

Sapphire, the latest small-space workstation from the Spanish brand Mountain, comes to the market with the latest generation of Intel processors.

The model Sapphire is a team of dessert small size that houses the processor Intel Core i5 12400, which has 6 cores and 12 execution threads reaching the 4,40Ghz. They are also incorporated 3200Mhz memories, up to a maximum of 64GB, a figure more than enough for the creation tasks for which this equipment is designed.

Regarding the discs, it is part of the technology PCIe 4.0, with speeds of 7500Mb/s which doubles those of the previous PCIe 3.0 version. In addition to these high-performance disks, other types of disks aimed at mass storage can be added to the configuration, such as SSDs o HDDs. The Sapphire desktop integrates the card UHD 730, which offers a resolution 4K a 60Hz. It can also be configured with other cards according to the needs of the task to be performed, such as, among others, the Nvidia Quadro T1000 or the new RTX 3050

In the design section, the small chassis of only 20.8cm wide and 37.6cm high make it suitable for any surface. The dark tempered glass side “surprises with its elegance”, as well as its easy opening like a hinged door. In the functional section, liquid and mechanical cooling manages to keep the equipment at a low temperature, maintaining a silence defined by Mountain as “sepulchral”.

Finally, Sapphire, aimed at professional performance in different areas, such as graphic design, photographic editing or audio editing/post-production, is compatible with Windows 10 y 11.
