Filmax Gran Vía 4DX becomes the largest flight simulator with the arrival of 'Top Gun: Maverick 4DX'

Cines Filmax Gran Vía 4DX (Barcelona) ha realizado un pase especial de Top Gun: Maverick, uno de los estrenos más esperados del año con tecnología inmersiva 4DX.

Desarrollada en Corea del Sur por la empresa CJ 4DPlex, la tecnología 4DX llegaba hace unos años para revolucionar la industria del entretenimiento, que aterrizó en Cataluña de la mano de Cines Filmax Gran Vía 4DX en 2018.

With 4DX, cinema is not seen, but rather experienced and the viewer is another character in the action thanks to 21 synchronized special effects that activate their five senses. Movement, water, air, heat effect, vibrations, aromas, and a long etcetera transform the stalls into a film set. The pre-premiere of Top Gun: Maverick and it has had some luxury instructors. A group of Air Force pilots participated in the pre-pass event led by Txabi Franquesa. The presenter has been the master of ceremonies and has had the opportunity to learn more about everything that this technological innovation provides with Jaime Tarrazón, CEO of Cines Filmax Gran Vía 4DX, who highlighted the spectacular nature of the 4DX experience. “There is no better room to enjoy Top Gun than the 4DX. Thanks to its chases, adrenaline and action, it is the perfect room to live the experience with all its effects.”

The new installment is the sequel to the original film starring Tom Cruise, which shows Maverick 30 years later. The protagonist continues to be one of the best aviators training and educating new generations. Top Gun It marked an entire generation that fell in love with its protagonists, vibrated with the spectacular flight scenes, and wore some of Maverick's iconic pieces such as his aviator jacket or the RayBan Aviator 3025 sunglasses.

During the talk prior to the pass, one of the pilots highlighted the sensations during the flight, the captain Rodrigo Pérez Bilbao, apasionado de las motos como Maverick, comparaba las sensaciones de velocidad y motor con el vuelo de caza. Por su parte el capitán Juan Bengoechea Vara de Rey, hijo de piloto de F18 y ahora también instructor, tras su primera experiencia con el 4DX confirmaba que las similitudes con las sensaciones durante el vuelo son reales.

La teniente Elena María Gutiérrez Vidal, primera mujer en pilotar un avión Eurofighter en el Ejército del Aire, explicaba su experiencia como una de las seis mujeres en el Ejército del Aire, inspirada a sus 26 años por sus propias compañeras.
