Spanish Television launches a new HD environment in Torrespaña with 84 Kroma by AEQ monitors

AEQ has won the public tender for the supply and commissioning of the 1-2 environment monitoring system for continuity of RTVE in Torrespaña.

From the Torrespaña (Madrid) continuities, 22 broadcast channels can be broadcast, of which currently only 6 are broadcast in high definition. For this reason, TVE's Television Technical area has undertaken the renewal of the 1-2 continuity environment, adapting it to new technologies and thus allowing the broadcasts of 10 simulcast broadcast channels in HD-SDI and SD-SDI.

AEQ has been awarded batch 8 of the batch of monitores broadcast para la renovación de los entornos 1 y 2 de su continuidad en Torrespaña. Se ha instalado un puente de monitorado y varios equipos de sobremesa, con control remoto por software, que incluye 59 monitores QS7024 HD de 24” FHD Quadsplit, capaz de representar 4 señales simultáneas cada uno; 10 LM7024 HD/3G de 24” FHD y LM8018 HD/3G de 18” FHD; 8 LM8009 HD/3G de 9” FHD; y 5 LM7504A11, un conjunto de 4 monitores de 4″ HD.

Los monitores disponen de funciones como vectorscopio y forma de onda; posibilidad de insertar textos informativos para cada canal asociados a cada uno de los monitores de presencia de la señal de salida de continuidad hacia emisión, el logo y nombre de la cadena de emisión, código de tiempo del programa que está en ese momento en emisión; vúmetro de la señal de audio que se está emitiendo… Todo ello, facilita la supervisión del correcto funcionamiento de las emisiones, pudiendo evitarse posibles errores manuales.
