The Camilo José Cela University has launched a laboratory on its Madrid-Villafranca Campus aimed at facilitating internships for communication students. This Medialab has been designed and integrated by Addi Telecom forming a multimedia space for the generation of content and the teaching of classes in a real simulation environment. To this end, the guidelines established by the university for the new university degrees in communication in the informative, artistic and creative aspects have been followed, which must respond adequately to the demanding challenges that students will have to address when they go on the market.

All areas of the Medialab are interconnected through a Full HD/2K digital matrix that facilitates the integration of all the functions of any of them, being also communicated not only digitally, but also with intercom between workstations. The project has contemplated a single global storage for all editions and playout systems Playbox of TV and AEQ for radio.

In the UCJC MediaLab, the GY-HM890 cameras have wide-angle optics Fujinon 20X, JVC VF-HP790G HD 8.4" viewfinders and KA-M790G component/SDI output adapters that connect to the RM-HP790 camera control units in the production control. The cameras also carry the TVPrompt Estudio 17 teleprompter from Addi Telecon, which allows reading up to 8.6 meters, with all its controls and TVPrompt-PBX software, all integrated with the Playbox system.

The GY-HM890 cameras also allow fiber adapters to be attached. The GY-HM890 camera allows you to record content on SDHC/SDXC cards in a dual slot, both in SD and HD. The dual-slot system provides simultaneous recording at 2 different resolutions, allowing you to record and generate a streaming at the same time.
