These are the projects that are competing for the IBC Innovation Awards
IBC has announced the 2022 shortlist for its Innovation and Social Impact Awards, which honor collaborative efforts in developing new solutions to real-world challenges and new efforts on equality, diversity, environmental concerns and social engagement.
Dick Hobbs, Executive Producer of the IBC Awards and President of the Innovation Awards Jury, underlines that "by seeing the best of what our industry can achieve, the IBC Awards always point to the current high points, where technology and creativity meet audience expectations and global concerns. There are many truly compelling augmented reality productions at this year's Innovation Awards, and the Social Impact Awards showcase the sector coming together to create a more equitable and stable world, in which “The media sector can continue to play a vital role.”
The president of the jury, Ade Rawcliffe, She has been overwhelmed, highlighting that "the quality of the finalists from around the world demonstrates the importance of social impact for many companies and creative companies. It is no longer just a 'nice', but an essential part of any company's strategy. Given the platform that the media has, it is our responsibility to drive social change, create more equitable and inclusive societies and encourage sustainable behaviors."
“The IBC Awards are a huge part of the IBC experience, reflecting and celebrating the opportunities for creative, business and technical teams to come together and see how they can achieve excellence,” said Hobbs.
The winners will be announced in a digital-first presentation on Monday 5 September at 16:00 BST, with the prizes presented at a special event at the RAI Amsterdam during IBC on Sunday. September 11.
