These are the finalists of the 2022 Iris Awards of the Television Academy

The Academy of Television and Audiovisual Sciences and Arts reveals the professionals and programs finalists for the 2022 Iris Awards from among the 450 candidates presented by television stations, producers and members of the institution.

The winners will be voted by academics among all the nominees, in secret and before a notary, and will be known during the awards ceremony which, expectedly, will be held in the month of November.

In the coming weeks, along with the awards that academics vote before a notary, a jury of renowned professionals will choose the Iris Jury Awards among the different trades and professional areas of television. Furthermore, a television critics and commentators committee will once again reward the most valued professionals and programs of the season with the Iris Critics Award.

At the same time, the Academy Council, made up of representatives of the board of directors, television networks and rights management entities, will be in charge of choosing the Iris Autonomous Awards. It will also be the council of the institution that grants, for another year, the Jesús Hermida Lifetime Achievement Award 2022, in recognition of a professional career linked to the television medium.
