Dynamo PicturesThe Japanese video game multinational Nintendo has acquired the entire computer graphics and computer animation studio Dynamo Pictures.

Founded in 2004 under the name Studio Dynamo, it adopted the current name in 2011 when they adopted the current name.

His work can be found in numerous productions such as Ice, Aya and the Witch or the second season of Ghost in the Shell from Netflix, as well as in video games like Death Stranding, Nier Replicant o Monster Hunter World.

The studio has stood out mainly for its motion capture.

The Japanese company hopes to close the purchase on October 3, at which time it will begin operating under the name Nintendo Pictures, focusing on the “development of visual content using Nintendo IPs” and the “planning and production of visual content, including computer-generated animation.”
