MediaKind expands its portfolio of edge solutions ahead of IBC 2022

edge products from MediaKind, which allow live events to be captured and transmitted reliably to the cloud, will play a leading role in the imminent IBC 2022 (September 9-12).

MediaKind edge solutions combine all the technology of decoding, encoding, transcoding, content replacement, content protection and reliable IP transport developed over recent years, which allows the Expanding Cloud-Based Linear Workflows. Among the new developments for the edge universe of MediaKind there is a deep integration with Zixi for the MK CE1 (contribution encoder) and MK RX1 (receiver and gateway), which provides greater “flexibility and interoperability” with cloud contribution and linear programming.
