Nominados a los 28 Premios Forqué

Los Premios Forqué han anunciado las nominaciones de su 28 edición con Cinco lobitos, Apagón y Rapa como las producciones más votadas en sus categorías. Los galardones entregados por EGEDA abrirán la temporada de premios en la gala que se celebrará el próximo 17 de diciembre en Palacio Municipal – IFEMA Madrid.

Las obras finalistas a los galardones de la industria audiovisual española fueron anunciadas en un acto celebrado en una sala de los Cines Capitol, presentado por Yolanda Flores que contó con la presencia de personalidades como Enrique Cerezo, presidente de EGEDA; Marta Rivera de la Cruz, consejera de Cultura, Turismo y Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid, Eduardo Fernández Palomares, Subsecretario del Ministerio de Cultura y Deportes; Daniel Rodríguez Martínez, viceconsejero de Cultura y Turismo de la Comunidad de Madrid o Andrea Levy, delegada Área de Gobierno de Cultura, Turismo y Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Madrid. Los encargados de desvelar las obras finalistas fueron los actores Álvaro Rico, Amaia Salamanca, Eduardo Noriega y Macarena García y el director, Luc Knowles.

five little wolves, la película más votada en el apartado cinematográfico con cuatro nominaciones, competirá con Alcarras, ganadora del Oso de Oro del prestigioso Festival de Berlín, The Beasts y Model 77 por el Premio Forqué al Mejor Largometraje de Ficción y/o Animación, que asciende a 30.000 euros.

Alcarras, Carla Simón's second film and historic winner of the Golden Bear, in addition to the one chosen for Spain's nomination for the Oscar Award for Best International Film, focused on the vicissitudes of a farming family that works in peach fields, is up for the Forqué Award for Best Fiction and/or Animation Feature Film and the Film and Education in Values Award.

For its part, The Beasts, by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, which was presented at Cannes and has just won three awards at the Tokyo International Film Festival, is competing for the award for Best Fiction and/or Animated Feature Film and for Best Male Performance for Denis Ménochet. The film narrates the experiences of a French couple settled in a rural village in Galicia after a conflict with their neighbors that increases tension between the locals.

Model 77, by Alberto Rodríguez, closes the nominations for Best Fiction and/or Animation Film, and will fight for the award for Best Male Performance for Miguel Herrán. Premiered at the San Sebastián Festival, this prison drama located in the Modelo prison in Barcelona addresses the situation of the historic Coordinator of Prisoners in Struggle during the Transition due to her complaints about excessive penalties in the Spanish prison system of the time.

La gala que se celebrará el próximo 17 de diciembre reconocerá a los mejores actores del año, con Anna Castillo (Girasoles silvestres), Laia Costa (Cinco lobitos), Laura Galán (Cerdita) y Susi Sánchez (Cinco lobitos) compitiendo por el Forqué a la Mejor Interpretación Femenina en cine; y Denis Ménochet (As Bestas), Luis Tosar (En los márgenes), Miguel Herrán (Modelo 77) y Nacho Sánchez (Mantícora) luchando por el galardón a la Mejor Interpretación Masculina.

Las candidatas al trofeo al euros (6.000€) son [REC] Terror sin pausa, de Diego López-Fernández, A las mujeres de España, María Lejárraga, de Laura Hojman, Labordeta, a man without more, de Paula Labordeta y Gaizka Urresti, y Feeling very sorry, by Fernando León de Aranoa. The films that compete for the award Best Latin American Feature Film (6.000€) son Argentina. 1985, by Santiago Miter, the Panamanian birthday boy by Arturo Montenegro, the Chilean The punishment, by Matías Bize and the Bolivian Main, by Alejandro Loayza Grisi.

In the category of Best Short Film (€3,000) are finalists Au pair, by David Pérez Sañudo, ropes, by Estíbaliz Urresola, and Wolf Totem, by Verónica Echegui; and, finally, the candidates for Cinema and Education in Values Award They are Alcarràs, Cinco Lobitos, En las Margins, by Juan Diego Botto, and The Rite of Spring, by Fernando Franco. The Gold Medal, an honorary award from the José María Forqué Awards, will be announced soon.
