RTVE Canarias donates cameras and mixers to a public institute in Las Palmas

The Felo Monzón public institute in Las Palmas will train 180 students in the higher cycle of Image, Filmmaking and Sound, and the intermediate level of Video Disc-Jok, with audiovisual material donated by RTVE Canary Islands.

The delivery of the material has been carried out by the director of the Territorial Production Center of RTVE Canarias, José María García Mediano. On behalf of the Felo Monzón Grau-Bassas institute, its director has collected it Adela Paloma Blanco.

The donated technical equipment includes wide angle optics, image and sound mixers, heads y camera controls used until now by the RTVE Canarias Production Center. This material is in good conditions of use, but it has been replaced by a more modern one, in line with the broadcasting needs in the audiovisual sector.

This transfer has followed the different guidelines required by the Corporation's internal regulations on donations: web publication, examination of applications, award of the donee and donation contract. The Felo Monzón institute has in turn complied with all the legal requirements to receive this material free of charge.

With this donation, the Corporation also seeks to meet the objectives of Sustainable development of the 2030 Agenda of the UN Compact, helping to improve education and promoting more responsible consumption.
