Riedel Networks - Dyn Media

Dyn Media, a streaming platform specialized in minority sports, has decided to trust Riedel Networks (Riedel) as “connectivity partner”.

Starting summer 2023, Riedel Networks will provide connectivity services for national leagues and the cup competitions such as the LIQUI MOLY Handball Bundesliga and the DHB Cup (handball), and the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga and the BBL Cup (basketball).

Riedel Networks will group all audio and video signals coming from more than 70 venues from all over Germany at the headquarters of Dyn in Colonia y Munich to process them in two virtual production units (VPU). These are connected through the company's own network. Riedel Networks in a 10 gig redundant fiber ring to the cloud platform Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Dyn Operations Center (DOC) in Wuppertal, where it will occur service to more than 1,300 matches in up to 160 calendar days of production. The objective of Dyn Media, founded by former DFL president Christian Seifert, in collaboration with Axel Springer, is to put the German media in the spotlight sports hitherto underrepresented and take your television production to a new level. The streaming service has already taken over the media rights of other national leagues, such as the TTBL Table Tennis Bundesliga and the VBL Volleyball Bundesliga, and is scheduled to launch in June 2023.

His counterpart in Riedel Networks, Michael Martens, adds that “this partnership is a perfect match, taking into account Dyn's “glass-to-glass” strategy, in which new types of content and production formats require an innovative and highly reliable IP-enabled media backbone network.
