Codemill launches new ad-break functionality within its Accurate.Video solution

Metadata-driven ad break workspace now featuring Accurate.Video Codemill allows users to define the duration of content and identify the best places for commercial advertising placement.

Accurate.Video is designed to optimize content preparation by workflow automation media-intensive, including essential editing segmentation, version control, quality assurance, compliance and localization. It enables seamless integration with any web browser, app or MAM-based video platform, and presents metadata-driven workflows in a configurable and intuitive user interface.

Accurate.Video automatically calculates the duration of a program and helps identify the best position for commercial breaks. The ad break workspace includes a new type of spanning marker that allows users to define the start and end of a program. Content operators can then create dedicated breaks, ranges and breaks, creating frame-accurate time-based metadata, which can be formatted and exported to downstream ad insertion systems.
