A total of 14 audiovisual projects have been presented in Pontevedra to professionals in the sector in the 6th edition of the Pitching TFG (Final Degree Projects) organized by the Galician Audiovisual Cluster.
in collaboration with the Universities of Vigo, Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña, and this year also with the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia.
The opening this Thursday of this forum, which has the collaboration of the Universities of Vigo, Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña, and this year also of the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia, was led by the president of the Galician Audiovisual Cluster, Jorge Algora, who highlighted the importance of contact between the university and business sectors in the field of the audiovisual industry, and the Councilor for Sustainable Development of Pontevedra, Iván Puentes. For the municipal representative, these types of initiatives are important to enhance the relationship between the city and the University.
During the day, the young people had the opportunity to test their work with member companies of the Cluster, and were able to learn about the producers' evaluations of their projects.
This forum maintains as its main objective the highlighting new audiovisual talent and its connection with the business fabric. For 2023, the academic entities selected eleven works by graduates from the three Galician universities, to which three other proposals from the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia were added.
The selected projects are in different phases of development and include feature and short fiction and animation films, series, documentaries and multimedia works.
