Marek Kielczewski, new Grass Valley CTO

Grass Valley renews its leadership with the appointment of Marek Kielczewski as CTO, Tim Banks as CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) and Jim Kirkland as senior vice president of global procurement and support.

These appointments seek to reinforce the “accelerated transformation” of the Grass Valley, according to the company itself. Prior to joining Grass Valley, Marek co-founded TVCoins, a streaming media startup. He was also chief technology officer of SeaChange, a company where he led the consolidation and transformation of the global R&D organization. In his first statements as CTO of Grass Valley, Kielczewski stated that the “new product strategy” will have an “incredible” impact on “our current and future customers and will realize the full potential of AMPP.”

With more than 25 years of experience in the media and entertainment sector, Tim Banks has been playing the role of CRO interim for the last six months. During his years in Grass Valley, Banks has achieved “impressive revenue and market share growth rates,” the company itself notes. Now, Grass Valley consolidates the appointment, crucial for the next phase of the company.
