Terrassa TV coordinates all its studio and outdoor operations with AEQ's Xpeak intercom

To coordinate television, radio and the acquisition of live news and reports, the Municipal Communication Society of Terrassa has purchased an AEQ Xpeak intercom system.

The project, which has had the support of the integrator's engineers GDR Multimedia, has a matrix-free system, based on audio over IP technology, designed especially for TV production, and optimized for remote productions.

The Municipal Communication Society of Terrassa depends on its City Council and has a multimedia portal, a television channel and a radio channel that work in coordination to offer citizens the closest information. In order to interconnect its facilities, Terrasa TV has installed a terminal in rack format Xpeak_R in the production control of the television studio and another in the radio broadcast control.

Additionally, two wired Beltpacks Xpeak_BP They allow the cameramen to coordinate on the television set. Two wireless beltpacks with Xplorer WiFi technology also guarantee communication between producers moving around the set and throughout the production center.

Outdoor coordination

For external coordination, an interface Xpeak_IF allows you to incorporate up to four external circuits, analog, USB or Dante.
