Alfredo Pérez de Albéniz Secuoya Unscripted

Responsible since 2015 for the launch of the most successful factual formats and documentary series of Secuoya Studios, Alfredo Pérez de Albéniz has been promoted to director of the area unscripted of the Spanish-speaking content factory.

Alfredo Pérez de Albéniz joined Sequoia Group in September 2015 as factual and documentary director. He strengthened his position in the studio unscripted area executive producer of Secuoya Studios, a position he has held since February 2021. Journalist, cameraman, screenwriter, director and expert in entertainment programs and documentaries, Pérez de Albéniz has a “deep and broad vision of the needs of production and the management of talent and human teams,” says Secuoya herself. Likewise, he has been in charge of the factory's star spaces, such as Spaniards in the world, 091 Police Alert o The Roaring Twenties, as well as his most recent documentary bets with The Four Seasons, Race In e Isaac and Nora.

Graduated in Journalism from the University of the Basque Country and with a master's degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, his experience is developed, among other production companies, in The TV World, where for more than a decade he had the opportunity to travel the world as an investigative reporter. In addition, he held the position of executive producer and head of the production company in the Valencian Community.

Albéniz has been director of a wide variety of programs (live magazines, entertainment programs, debates, current documentaries or events...) and is a professor of the master's degree in Investigative Journalism and Reporting at the King Juan Carlos I University from Madrid and collaborates in the Executive Production master at The Core.
