Satashi Araki to lead For-A America's IP solutions area
Professional with extensive experience at the headquarters of For-A Corporation In Tokyo, where he led IP tool integration efforts, Satashi Araki makes the leap to For-A America to serve as IP Product Manager.
For-A America, a company that has recently redoubled the IP transformation of its solutions, assigns a new role to Araki so that it can introduce the new platform to the industry in depth. Impulse, a software-based tool that consolidates the functions provided by FOR-A products into a single host machine and multi-channel processor FA-1616, a gateway between SDI and IP, as well as from IP to IP and from SDI to SDI.
Satoshi Kanemura, president and COO of For-A America, highlights Araki's “extensive experience”: “I cannot overstate how valuable he will be to us in providing the best technical support and comprehensive systems to our clientele.” For its part, the latest addition to For-A America is looking forward to meet with users to get an in-depth look at their challenges: "We've been working hard in Tokyo developing software-defined solutions that make live video operations easier and allow for greater creativity. I'm looking forward to meeting with our entire customer base to get their feedback and incorporate it into future designs."
Beyond presenting its platform in April Impulse, For-A has introduced an important selection of IP solutions to the market, such as the SMPTE ST 2110 resource sharing software, Hi-RDS; the transport device Soar-A Edge IP, o MixBoard, a software-based mixer. FOR-A's live production ecosystem works with all IP types and is fully standards-compliant ST 2110.
