Mar Olid debuts in feature film direction with 'Al otro barrio'

Telecinco Cinema y Zeta Cinema, with the participation of Mediaset España, Movistar Plus+ and Mediterráneo Mediaset, begin filming the comedy 'Al otro barrio', directed by Mar Olid and starring Quin Gutiérrez and Sara Sálamo.

In the film, Andrés, director of a successful communications agency located in a luxurious area of ​​central Madrid, is forced for legal reasons to move his business to Los Caños, one of the most conflictive neighborhoods in Spain located on the outskirts of the city.

Facing this new stage with his team in the suburbs and in an environment full of contrasts focuses the plot of Al otro barrio, comedy directed by Mar. They were (Los Serrano, Aída, Vivir sin permiso, Días Mejores, La Caza y El Vecino), cuyo reparto principal integran Quim Gutiérrez, Sara Sálamo, María de Nati, Javier Herrera, Hamza Zaidi, Jorge Suquet, Yael Belicha y Carmen Ruiz, con la colaboración especial de Francesc Orella, entre otros.

Al otro barrio está basada en la historia original y en la película Jusqu’ici tout va bien, written by Khaled Amara, Mohamed Hamidi and Michaël Souhaité and directed by Mohamed Hamidi. It is a sustainable production, which incorporates tools, protocols and measures that guarantee sustainability criteria in the environmental, economic and social areas.
