AMA Madrid Audiovisual Association - D'Ursi Board of Directors

Carlo D’Ursi, producer, director and actor in charge of Potenza Productions, succeeds Mario Madueño as president of AMA (Madrid Audiovisual Association).

The appointment of D'Ursi is accompanied by a renewal of the board of directors, which now consists of Teresa Fernandez of Oasis Productions as vice president and Cesar Martinez of Dexiderius as the first vocal.

This new board of directors has set the goal of continuing to work to “consolidate” the AMA as a “referent in the Madrid region.” In parallel, it will continue searching collaboration opportunities with local and regional institutions, “including the Madrid City Council, the Community of Madrid and Telemadrid”, to consolidate a “solid and stable” collaboration framework. AMA will also maintain active collaboration with key national entities such as the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), the Ministries of Culture and Industry, and other relevant institutions in the sector at a national and international level. This collaborative work will be developed both directly and through the Federated Independent Audiovisual Producers (PIAF) and other national sector associations.

During this new period, the AMA board of directors, led by D'Ursi, will promote specific commissions with the active participation of all the members of the association. In fact, the communication commission is already underway, led by Carlos Guerrero of 39 Escalones and Pablo de la Chica from Salón Indie Films. Finally, the new board has also emphasized the importance of sustainability and diversity, committing to promote and maintain these values.
