The XR and VP Votion study opts for Brompton's Tessera LED processors
The creative agency Votion Studios, based in Hong Kong, has updated its virtual production studio with LED screens AOTO powered by Tessera processors Brompton Technology.
In February 2022, Votion decided to update their XR and VP studies betting on three LED screens AOTO: a 2.3mm RM curved LED wall, measuring 10 by 3.5m; an 8.5 by 5 m AE 2.3 mm LED floor, and a 4 by 3 m M3.7 height-adjustable LED ceiling. The entire facility is controlled by five Tessera SX40 LED processors from Brompton Technology, complemented by four data distribution units XD 10G card to offer a unified data distribution solution.
The Votion system is completed with a media server disguise vx4 and three systems render rxII, which complement perfectly with the lighting system ARRI and the cameras RED. All these systems, according to Roger Proeis, co-founder of Votion Studio, allow us to respond to the latest market needs: "Adopting Brompton LED processing marked a pivotal moment in our commitment to delivering innovative, cutting-edge images in all our projects. The inclusion of full 4K support and extraordinary LED video processing, including HDR, dynamic calibration and HFR+, ensure accurate and stunning images every time."
Votion Studios has already been able to exploit this system with renowned brands such as Nike o Nescafé. Recently, the system was put to the test with a complex music video that brought together performers Sing Sing Rabbit and Kelly Chen.
