Portocabo begins filming in Galicia for Season 3 of 'Rapa'

The third (and last) season of 'Rapa', original series Movistar Plus+ which will have 6 episodes produced together with Portocabo, has begun filming in several Galician locations.

The series created by Pepe Coira and Fran Araújo, is directed by Jorge Coira, and stars Javier Cámara, who even directs one of the episodes, and Mónica López.

Filming, which will end in mid-November, is taking place in several Galician towns, such as Ferrol, Narón, Valdoviño, Xove, Pontedeume, Miño, Sada, As Somozas and Cedeira; in addition to Bergondo, Abegondo, Fene, As Pontes or San Sadurniño.

In this third season, Tomás' illness has advanced. Maite would like to be more present at this difficult stage, but she finds herself involved in a kidnapping case that affects a well-known and complicated family in the area. Tomás also has to change his priorities when he encounters an unforeseen event: a former friend of his is accused of murder. Convinced that he is innocent, he enters the surroundings of the Ferrol shipyard to prove it, knowing that perhaps this will be his last investigation.

Along with Javier Cámara and Mónica López –as Tomás and Maite– actors such as Darío Loureiro (in the role of Tacho) or Adrián Ríos (as Bolaño) return. Among the new signings for this third season we find Cristina Castaño (Toy Boy, I leave him whenever I want, The 13 exorcisms), Mercedes Sampietro (Dressed in blue, Common places, Outside the walls), Sheyla Fariña (Acacias 38, The skin I live in), Xosé Manuel Esperante (The commissioner), Eva Barreiro (known musically as Eva B), Miguel de Lira (brothers-in-law), Diego Anido (The Beasts) y Aida Oset (Moebius, Serve and protect).
