Clear-Com Eclipse HX

Version 13.1 for the Eclipse HX matrix adds long-awaited functions, including interoperability with NMOS4 and 5, as well as support for its own 2X10. Clear-Com.

Eclipse HX launches new stage thanks to update 13.1, which brings expected improvements such as a unique function with startrole based session ios, which streamlines setup and allows users to quickly move from one device to another. With this new feature, system administrators can set a single key to contact a user regardless of which device they are logged into, saving the effort of having to set up multiple keys if a user moves between multiple devices during a production. Likewise, the user experience is greatly improved thanks to simplified login on the endpoint device closest to hand, with keys that automatically populate specific settings allowing an operation “follow-me”.

On the other hand, Clear-Com continues to bet on ST2110-30 standard adding to version 13.1 of your Eclipse-HX the IS-04 e IS-05 de NMOS (Networked Media Open Specification). IS-04 takes care of the discovery and registration of devices on a network and IS-05 takes care of connecting and managing devices. The incorporation of these specifications seeks to simplify and speed up the configuration of an audio network with IP devices. Finally, Clear-Com has added support for the new touch desktop panel with this update. 2X10, a 20-key IP-based surface that offers a compact and intuitive desktop option for Eclipse HX users.

Simon Browne, VP of Product Management Clear-Com, assesses the benefits of the EHX 13.1 update: "Clear-Com understands that users are constantly looking for improvements in the usability and interoperability of their intercom system. With EHX 13.1 we are offering a truly revolutionary feature with role-based workflows along with support for current NMOS standards and the 2X10 Touch desktop panel. We are delighted to continue supporting our Eclipse-based systems with these continuous innovations.”
