Laura Folguera will direct La 2 after the retirement of Samuel Martín

The 2 (RTVE) begins a new stage under the direction of journalist Laura Folguera, who takes over from Samuel Martín Mateos after his retirement.

Laura Folguera Ortega (Barcelona, ​​1975) has a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Diploma in Japanese Language and Culture from La Kyoto Gaikokugo Daigaku de Kyoto.

It started in RTVE as editor of The Green Beetle in 1999 and has since worked in the program and information area of Catalonia. In 2016 he directed the magazine Tips, in 2017 she was the coordinator of La 2 in Catalonia and in 2021 she took charge of the direction of Production of TVE Programs in Catalonia.

fern has developed its professional career for more than 20 years at the RTVE Production Center in Sant Cugat, where from now on the chain address is back.
