'Jeopardy', the most awarded contest in the history of television, comes to La1
Produced by RTVE in collaboration with Lavinia Audiovisual'Jeopardy', the most awarded competition in the history of television with 43 Emmys, will soon arrive on La1 afternoons hosted by Paco de Benito.
To win a good amount of money, three contestants will have to test their knowledge, strategy and mental quickness. But they will also have to face an original mechanic: this is the only contest in which the presenter gives the answers and the contestants ask the questions.
Participants face three panels and a final question that contain questions related to general culture topics: music, literature, geography, history or gastronomy. Only the one who accumulates the most money at the end of the program will be able to take it home and compete again in the next chapter.
And as the host of this program for brilliant minds, one of the best contestants who have ever appeared on Spanish television, Paco de Benito.
Jeopardy, the contest produced in the United States by Sony Pictures Television and distributed by Paramount Global, arrives in Spain after sweeping the United States (where it has been for 44 seasons), Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland (five seasons), Estonia, Slovakia, Russia (27 seasons), Azerbaijan, Argentina and Chile. In 2024, the British adaptation will also premiere on ITV and in Australia, on the Nine Network.
