LovesTv launches redesign to revitalize HbbTV in Spain

The new version of LovesTv, free hybrid television platform based on HbbTV technology from RTVE, Atresmedia y Mediaset, offers a complete redesign, new functionalities and services adapted to the sign of the times.

LovesTv improve your experience with a renewed interface which will allow viewers to more easily access features such as live television, catch up, Start over, content broadcast on a channel during the last week, recommendations or to an improved EPG.

With this redesign, RTVE, Atresmedia and Mediaset They seek to “better adapt” to the navigation standards of users who in recent years have increased their consumption of video on demand from connected televisions. These improvements are complemented by a player updated that will allow it to be integrated with a larger park of televisions and that will incorporate integrated audio and subtitle selection in the player itself.

Launched in November 2018, in these five years LovesTv has been consolidating within the range of services available under HbbTV technology. This is an international standard developed by the HbbTV Association, a standardization body made up of leading companies in the television industry, including broadcasters from across Europe, television manufacturers, network operators and technology companies.
