NABiQ returns to NAB 2024 offering a platform to overcome the challenges of the sector
NAB Show 2024, which will take place April 14-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will once again offer opportunities for the industry to share its vision on some of the most critical issues in broadcast for the third consecutive year through NABiQ.
NABiQ, structured as a hackathon, distributes its participants into small groups to address specific challenges and present their conclusions to the entire broadcast industry. This year, this initiative breaks new ground by introducing live challenges to the online community platform, NAB Amplify, before the main event. These will be focused on the future of AI, AI content creation, AI content delivery, and audience engagement and interaction.
The first free live workshop will be January 25 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) for the Create community. Program Coordinator Maria Duloquin will moderate the event alongside special guest Emily Reigart, Senior Editor at NAB Amplify, for a brief discussion on unlocking the potential of generative AI.
Next, industry professionals will break into small groups and discuss pressing questions: What do we know so far about AI in the industry? What do we not know about AI in the sector? How do we embrace the future of AI in the sector? The series of online events will continue on February 29 with NABiQ Deep Dive: Redefine the future of content delivery with AI and on March 28 with NABiQ Deep Dive: Drive the AI era of audience engagement.
The NAB Show in-person brainstorming series, scheduled for April 14-16, brings together media professionals for 12 brainstorming sessions culminating in a daily one-minute pitch, presented live on stage, followed by a happy hour reception for additional networking.
