The fiction is, in the words of its creators, "a reflection on where the truth is in the digital age, carried out through the exploration of identity, justice and second chances. Set in the world of espionage, it is a story that transcends its genre. A story about forbidden love, betrayal and the difficulty of starting over."
The production is written by Natacha Caravia (Iosi, the repentant spy), Juan Matías Carballo (Love After Love, The Cry of the Butterflies), responsible for Burman Office Content, and by himself Daniel Burman (The broken Embrace, Iosi, the repentant spy), and has the participation of the North American producer Michael Nozik, who has joined the Burman Office team) on this project.
Oscar nominated for Quiz Show (The Dilemma) and winner of a Bafta award from the British Film Academy for best foreign language film for motorcycle diaries, Nozik is also the producer of films such as Syriana, The Legend of Bagger Vance o Love in the time of cholera, among others.
In the series, a coalition formed by the main international intelligence agencies has decided to create an extraterritorial witness protection program to safeguard those individuals whose revelations could put global stability at risk. Its code name: Tzadik program. Given its geopolitical isolation and historical neutrality, Argentina will be the country chosen to implement the program in its pilot phase and this is where the English writer Laura MacGill comes into play. Without maintaining any personal contact with them, she will be in charge of designing the new identities that the witnesses who are part of the program must assume. Her life will fall apart when she meets a man whose profile turns out to be an exact reflection of one of the false identities she created herself.
