Kinepolis celebrates a quarter of a century at the forefront of cinema

This 2024, the iconic movie theaters Kinepolis celebrate 25 years in Spain, a quarter of a century offering the best cinematographic experience to the more than 50 million spectators who have passed through its cinemas in this time.

A quarter of a century ago, Kinépolis Madrid Ciudad de la Imagen opened its doors with 25 rooms and more than 9,200 seats, a milestone for which it received the Guinness World Record that same year for the cinema complex with the largest number of seats and the latest technology.

Since then, Kinepolis has positioned itself as the benchmark in innovation in our country, offering the best quality of projection in all its cinemas and continuously updating to offer the latest advances in image and sound.

Currently, viewers can enjoy the best premieres with the latest and most immersive technologies on the market such as: the sharpness and realism of IMAX laser (the only room that offers it in all of Madrid), the 4DX sensory experience, the ScreenX surround display, the revolutionary Laser Ultra or surround sound Dolby Atmos, which offer a unique and unrivalled cinematic experience. All this technology is complemented by a wide variety of offerings with the latest releases on the billboard and with alternative content such as concerts, ballet, opera or live events.
