Volinga, NeRF professional suite for virtual production and VFX, releases desktop version

Los usuarios de la suite Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) de Volinga ya pueden operar la plataforma directamente desde sus ordenadores procesando su información localmente y escapando así de la dependencia de servicios en la nube, los cuales pueden implicar complicaciones en materia de NDAs.

Los NVOLs generados a través de la aplicación de escritorio de Volinga no solo contarán con una “calidad superior”, sino que también ofrecen una serie de advantages throughout the development process and the final result. Among them are the adjustment of hyperparameters, resolution and number of iterations; local 3DGS processing; COLMAP camera pose saving, key for mapping processes; efficient management and the ability to schedule training tasks, as well as compatibility with multi-video training that allows the combination of different captures of the same location.

Fernando Rivas-Manzaneque, CEO of Volinga, explains how the local version of the suite responds directly to the needs of the industry: "Professionals have been asking for a solution for some time that allows them to use Radiance Fields technology as a tool that meets their needs. The objective of Volinga Desktop is to give them that tool. Although it is a first version of this, it is on our roadmap to extend its functionalities and make it comply with all industry standards."

This update, which is provided free for non-commercial use, can be acquired by interested companies through a subscription model.
