Radio Jovem Pan Chapecó installs AEQ's Capitol IP console

The Chapter IP console of AEQ arrives at the facilities of the Brazilian radio station Radio Jovem Pan Chapecó, which recently decided to renew its production system.

Radio Jovem Pan Chapecó is one of the most popular stations in this region of Brazil thanks to a varied programming that can be heard from the 94.1FM of the dial and through the main aggregators of streaming. From the beginning of the project, the company planned to integrate AEQ technology as the core of its content production system; Specifically, the technical direction decided on the digital mixer Capitol IP with a 8 channel fixed configuration.

At Capitol IP, the implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels incorporated into its “core”. Radio Jovem Pan Chapecó has especially appreciated the wide input capacity available that enables this AEQ solution: 4 mic/line, 12 analog, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional phone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links; 16 AoIP channels over two Ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels via fiber optic input.

The entire project has been led by the engineering director Felipe Viera of Grupo ND, in coordination with the technical services of LineUP, AEQ's local partner in the country.
