Pixelscope NAB 2024

Pixelscope participates in NAB 2024 demonstrating the potential of its Pixelcast technology that uses Artificial Intelligence to automate the entire sports broadcasting process from camera capture to editing, transmission and graphic production.

Pixelcast is capable of recognize and react autonomously to game situations, controlling multiple cameras simultaneously. This capability ensures that every important action is captured and relayed with accuracy similar to that of traditional human-operated systems. The technology uses high speed tracking cameras to analyze the movements of players and balls in 3D, guaranteeing dynamic and precise coverage.

Pixelcast automation goes beyond simple camera operations. Covers all phases of the broadcast process, including angle adjustments for live viewing, instant replay creation, data control, and data-driven graphic production. The result is an engaging audience experience that goes beyond traditional broadcast methods.

During NAB 2024 in Las Vegas, Pixelscope is demonstrating the autonomous broadcast of a table tennis match. Their proposal is autonomously capturing, editing and streaming an individual table tennis match, showcasing their ability to handle the fast pace and unpredictable nature of the sport without human intervention.

Table tennis, known for its fast and intense play, presents unique challenges for broadcasting. Pixelcast addresses these challenges using Artificial Intelligence to predict and follow rapid movements of the ball and the players in the small space of a ping-pong table.

In addition, Pixelcast improves the viewing experience automatically selecting camera angles more relevant and generating data-driven graphs that illustrate match statistics. These graphs are analyzed and displayed in real time, providing viewers with a complete understanding of the dynamics of the match.

The system, which automates various aspects of live broadcasting, shows how high-quality production can be achieved more efficiently and effectively, with a high-quality production more efficiently and profitably, even for sports and smaller events.
