Sennheiser debuts the new MKH 8030 RF condenser microphone

The MKH 8030 microphone, which Sennheiser is being demonstrated at NAB 2024, and enables recording professionals to capture pristine, detailed sound over a wide range of frequencies in almost any environment.

Featuring a push-pull transducer and an innovative low-tension diaphragm, the MKH 8030's design offers superior sensitivity, wide frequency response and an ideal polar pattern, so you can capture sound in the most authentic way possible.

The MKH 8030 is ideal for stereo M-S, dual M-S and Blumlein recording or wherever the greatest attenuation of neighboring sound sources is required.

Like all Sennheiser MKH 8000 series microphones, the MKH 8030 features a symmetrical push-pull transducer alreadycustically open.

This design keeps the flow of sound as little restricted and distorted as possible, providing an accurate polar pattern with minimal off-axis coloration. In combination with a low voltage diaphragm, this design provides remarkable sensitivity and wide frequency response, so you can capture sound in the most authentic way possible.
