SkyShowtime - Catalog - Paramount Ad Agreement

Paramount Advertising International has closed an agreement with SkyShowtime in all its markets which will result, among other milestones, in the launch of a plan with advertising at a lower price.

SkyShowtime's new ad-supported standard plan is available from April 23, making SkyShowtime the first streaming service to simultaneously launch an ad-supported plan on all its markets. With this launch, the platform seeks to offer its consumers two great experiences, “with and without advertising.” In the first case, the platform defines the product as “premium”, given that it will aim to offer an average of four to five minutes of ads per hour.

Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime, believes that this move reaffirms the company's goal of offering “great entertainment at a great price.” "The launch of our ad-supported plan is the next step in the evolution of our service, coming at a time when people are looking for more choice and flexibility. We are delighted to be the first streaming service to offer consumers in all of our markets an ad-supported option," he said.

Both SkyShowtime plans offer the same movies of success, series new and exclusive and local original programming, like A Gentleman in Moscow, An Unexpected Setback, Bargain, HALO (T2), Knuckles, Kos (Scarborn), Mayor of Kingstown (T3), Mission Impossible: Death Sentence, Oppenheimer, Paw Patrol: The Supermovie, Star Trek: Discovery (T1-5), The Envoys (T2), The Family Stallone (T2), The tattoo artist from Auschwitz, Trolls 3: All together y Veronika. The new standard plan with ads will reach more than 20 markets of SkyShowtime, including Spain, Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Sweden.
