Miguel Ángel Cristóbal, CEO of Sapec: “in these 25 years we have gone from analog to looking to the future in 8K”
Miguel Ángel Cristóbal and Francisco Javier Palenciano, CEO and Sales Manager at Sapec, respectively, analyze in this video interview at NAB 2024 the main developments of the Spanish company specialized in coding, such as the arrival of the SMPTE 2110 interface to the popular UHD/HD/SD Laguna multichannel platform; Sivac-One, which debuts a new 12G interface, both electrical and optical; the family of H.264/MPEG-2 encoders with integrated Gredos II modulator, which supports up to two channels of SD/HD video, or the pennant system with cameras from The CornerCam.
Particularly noteworthy is the arrival of the SMPTE 2110 interface to Laguna UHD/HD/SD multichannel platform, a movement that opens the door to the system to 100% and hybrid environments, as well as the new compatibility with RIST, which directs its gaze to the transport of content through public networks with support for multicast, maximum security encryption systems or a packet correction that can reach 45% of the content.
Those who visited the Sapec stand at NAB 2024 were able to discover the solutions of the Spanish company Video-MOS and the American Acromove, dos de sus principales partners.
